Whether anybody know, LEMON ENO is good to advisable to take during 1st trimester of pregnancy...?

Hi Revathi,

I had baby last November, during my pregnancy I had gas problem. For that I was having garlic(fried it in ghee and mix with rice and eat). and helped me. Not sure of vomitings. For abdominal pain I think u need to see doctor as it might be because of so many reasons

with Shive Rhea dvd cassatte. It is really very good, slow instructions and easy to understand.
I did not have nausea but I do have motion sickness. And I have to drive to work. So, Yoga along with the travel band help me to reduce the effects.
Also, I started getting lower back pain when I wake up in the morning; I am feeling little heavy at uterus too. After doing yoga, all my muscles get relaxed and i do not get pain whole day that way. I hope this will help you too.

15 weeks 3 days.

I would like to add one more thing to earlier replies.
Do some kind of light exercise. I feel much better when I do Prenetal Yoga. The DVDs are available. And it is worth the cost.

Thanks Archie, for the reply...yes, I am in US only.. yes, I am taking TUMS ..but u know, sometimes there is very little effect ....anyway, today my pain, vomiting and gas got reduced and was able to eat some food...After that I had 2 TUMS, which feels good as of now...

..I was not able to eat or keep any liquid down for my 6-8th week...She was mentioning that, I have lost more than 10 pounds lost , on our last visit..she told me,that u should keep the food inside.....My doctor, she has advised me to take ZOFRAN for prevent nausea and Omiting..which seems to work for me...

I am having pre-natal vitamin...which makes me to throw ...after few hrs...

So my question here is ,

How to take these prenatal vitamins or FLINTSTONE .. I really want to keep it down, but I am not able to do..Any Advice for me , to keep it down..?

And do u have any opinion about the ZOFRAN..?

Dear Revathi,
First trimester is usually tuff with vomits and symptoms.
I would suggest you to go and see your Gynecologist, he/she will advice you on medication, seems like you are in India.
If you live in US then you can eat TUMS, they contain Calcium and quick relief from gas/acidity.
Back pain, gas and vomit is very normal. But if you feel very discomfort see a OB/GYN.

diet during pregnancy
Maintaining a healthy diet during pregnancy is very important.

During this time, your body needs additional nutrients, vitamins and minerals.

In fact, you may need 350–500 extra calories each day during the second and third trimesters.

A diet lacking in key nutrients may negatively affect the baby’s development.
