Soma,
I had back pain early on too. I just tried to take it easy. Theres no point in stressing your body while you are in pain. There is good news though. When the uterus starts moving up - 5 month onwards. It will take the pressure off your back. I feel so much better now. I 'm able to do most chores around the house now - except heavy lifting. I had massage that didn't help me much. As I would get a backache at the slightest of movements.

dear Soman
back pain is OK and if you are in US you can eat Tylenol. Or in India try to eat Acetamenophen tablets.

If your job needs you seating through out the day then some back pain is normal. You can get some mild back rub with coconut oil and warm shower before going to bed.
if this does not help then try to support your back with pillow at office also in the bed.
Fold your legs towards belly while in bed and tuck a pillow between two legs, this should give some relief.

diet during pregnancy
Maintaining a healthy diet during pregnancy is very important.

During this time, your body needs additional nutrients, vitamins and minerals.

In fact, you may need 350–500 extra calories each day during the second and third trimesters.

A diet lacking in key nutrients may negatively affect the baby’s development.
