Hi to all,

I am a new member. I was just going through all the previous topics, very interesting. My baby is due on 20th Dec, don't know whether it going to be a boy or a girl...guess will have to wait till dec for that :-).

My 20 weeks ultrasound scan showed that i had a low lying placenta (4cm from the OS)and the doc had advised me against traveling because in such cases there are chances of bleeding. I had slight spotting two days back. My husband and I got very anxious and rushed to the doc. She did an internal examination and removed a small blood clot from the vagina. She said probably my placenta is moving up and this could have caused the clot. I have been asked to take it easy till the scan which is due the end of this month. I hope everything is fine with the baby, though i can feel the movements.

Susmitha and Dee, Thanks for your suggestion. I take a lot of rest these days. The best part about living in India is that maids and cooks are easily available :-). Husband also helps a lot.

Dee, as per the chinese calender i am going to have a baby girl. I hope it comes true. In india, they don't reveal the sex of the baby.

Welcome to the board. I am currently based in singapore preg with a baby boy and my edd is 27th dec.

Take rest as much as possible. Think positive as it will help u & ur baby. Don't worry about the scan everything will be alright. Just have total faith in god.

At this time every one 'll give u the same suggestion take rest! In american nurses words Listen to your body! In every class they'll tell don't exaust and listen to your body and u'll be fine. So take rest and think positive it'll help u and u'r baby.

well im based in NJ n m 25w5d preg with a BABY BOY.my edd is dec 2nd.
i too feel the baby movin quite distinctly nowadays.


i feel u shud b careful bout takin as much rest as possible till the scan.go easy on household chores.and pz donot exert yrself byond yr capacity.

everythng will come out jus xcellent in yr nxt apptmnt.
