Hi,
My 9 month old son does not drink formula milk. So my doc advised me to give cheese melted on his vegetable purees. This way he likes his vegetable purees. It is a good source of calcium and he had no problem in digesting melted cheese.
Hope this helps.

Hi Radha how is your daughter doing?
Raagi is also called as nachni in north india. It is small like mustard very red in color. You can use powdered raagi, mix it with milk and boil it for 2 or 3 min.
thanx

HI RADHA,

RAGI IS VERY GOOD FOR OVER ALL DEVELOPMENT,I STARTED GIVING MY BABY RAGI FROM 4TH MONTH,HE LOVES RAGI VERY MUCH.INITIALLY WHAT I DID WAS SOAKED THE RAGI SEEDS IN WATER OVERNIGHT AND NEXT DAY DRIED THE SEEDS IN THE SUN,THEN I GROUND THE RAGI SEEDS INTO FINE POWDER AND SEIVED IT THRUOGH A MUSLIN CLOTH,THEN I MADE PORRIDGE OUT OF IT.

FOR PORRIDGE YOU NEED TO BOIL 4 OZ OF WATER WITH LITTLE SUGAR OR SALT AND A LITTLE GHEE .THEN YOU TAKE 3 TBSPS OF RAGI POWDER MIX IT IN WATER IN ANOTHER CUP AND PUT THIS MIXTURE IN THE BOILING WATER,IT BECOMES THINK AND FORMS PORRIDGE.(YOU CAN DO IT WITH MILK ALSO) ONCE THE BABIES ARE 6 MONTHS.MY SON USE TO LOVE IT,ONCE THEY ARE 6 MONTHS YOU CAN ADD WHEAT, TO IT..SOME DRIED FRUITS .

ALL THE BEST.........
