Problems in School:How much age of fee hike is allowed to school?

Dear parents,
My childrens are studying in Johnson Grammar School, Habshiguda, Hyderabad. Till last year(session 2005-06) there was only two term fee(June and December of Rs.500) and monthly tution fee(varies with class)was there along with other fee(Rs.2000) paid during June at the start of the session after holidays. Last year the school added a new term term fee which has to be paid in the month of September. the fee card was displaying the caution as 10 fee hike evry year. But this year The fee is suddenly increased by 20 without notice and now the fee card card shows 20 fee hike evry yaer. It sems to me that the schools are not temples of getting education but they are more of making money. A govt. employee gets a hike of max. 10 in his salary. I am searching for those parents who have some idea about the law that how much fee can be hiked by a school in a year so that I can discuss with the school administration and all the parents can get some relief.

hello sunil..
i think the best idea would be to collect the parents of the same school and then discuss..
especially talk to the parents of the good and senior students of the school...like the head boy/girl, or the best rankers of the school,...collect the data from an internal resource of the school like a teacher or non-teaching staff..if u know any personally
Then all parents together can take an appointment with the principal..

even an article about the increasing fees of the school in a local newspaper would be the best..and let that be read by the staff of the school..

but seriously i can understand the problems faced by parents..the school managements have made the education as the businesses that are ruining our children' s future....interesting fact is that in staff meeting they would advice the teachers to behave motherly as education is not just a profession..
isn' t it funny..
i am a teacher in north india..i came to know abt the school status' s in bangalore too.....that' s a hell ....

Respected madam,
Thanks a lot for your advice. I tried to contact some of my collegues whose son or daughters are studying in same school but nobody is ready to take the matter to school administrator. I am planning to meet the administrator personally and let him know about the things.
Thanks once again
