The brain of a child develops the most between 3 to 5 years of age. His or her reasoning abilities develop during these growth years. To help your child grow into a logical human being you should make sure to teach him reasoning while playing. Here is a list of such educational toys given which can help you teach your child while he or she is in a playful mood.

1. Building Blocks

It is the most common game that is given to most kids. It sharpens a kid’s reasoning power. His or her ability to learn to fit each block over another teaches him or her about sizes and that a small block cannot be fixed over the larger block teaches him or her logic. This game also develops the spatial reasoning abilities in kids. With these blocks kids learn to form different shapes and feel proud of every accomplishment which is well reflected in their smile.

Puzzle games also serve the same purpose. Give your kid a picture and ask to complete the picture with the pieces of the puzzle jumbled together. The words that are to be formed should have connection with each other and by taking any one letter of the first word another word is to be formed by placing the alphabets correctly in order to form another meaningful word. This helps in polishing the vocabulary in kids; they get to learn new words, which is very helpful for them in the years to come and to pursue further education.

3. Snap Circuits

It teaches the kids to form circuits to create doorbells and alarm clocks. This game does not require any tools to create any circuit. It is somewhat like the building block games with a little difference that it contains all the parts that are mounted on modules made of plastic.

The snap circuit game kit contains 30 pieces and an instruction module how to build electronic items. This is a game for the kids who have attained a minimum of 8 years of age and is a very interesting game. 4. Symphony

For those kids who love music this is a perfect game to teach them about tones and musical instruments. This symphony kit comes with six musical instruments made of plastic placed together like that in an orchestra pit. When the button for each musical instrument is pushed the electronic sensor starts playing the note of that instrument. You can replace each instrument with a different one and ask your kid to identify the instrument.

5. Little Bits Space Kits

This game is ideal for the budding astronauts and scientists. With this the kids can build models of a real spacecraft making its journey through space.
