1. Setting No Rules
If there are no rules levied, kids become masters of their own will. Going to bed late, getting up late, not studying properly, watching television, playing video games often and many more are the results.

overprotective have to face rebellious teenagers. It is possible they damage themselves in the process just because it is against their parents’ will.
Let your child explore things according to his or her age. Make sure there is no danger in doing so or explain the consequences beforehand.
4. Emotional Abuse
Many parents do not know that emotional abuse stays for lifetime in one’s mind. This consists of manipulation, lying to and insulting the child.
5. Physical Abuse
This is the worst thing and the obvious sign of bad parenting.
Remember, no one needs physical abuse. If you are not able to control yourself, it is you who needs help.
6. Giving-in to Kids’ Demands
Kids know how to negotiate very early especially because of such parents. Initially it does not seem so problematic, but as soon as your child enters teenage, you will have to face constant battles.
If you give-in to pressure from your child, your role as parent gets over. You need to guide your child to help him or her become responsible adult and have sound decision making skills.
7. Doing Everything for Kids
Right from the time your child is an infant, you do things for your child. This turns into a habit and parents continue doing things for their sons and daughters.
Let your children help you in household chores suiting their age. Chores are not punishments. They give children sense of belonging and worth.
8. Favouritism or Partiality
Both are same, if you favour one of your children and neglect others, it affects their mind and entire life. It damages your child’s self-esteem.
Some parents do this often unknowingly. It is time to realize.
9. Spoiling
Fulfilling your child’s every wish every time is spoiling him or her. This will make them uncontrolled and when they grow up, living with them would be terrible.
10. Lack of Trust
It is common trend for others to complain about children. If you punish your child without listening to him or her, you are showing complete distrust. This will result in hiding things from you.
