 Interesting article! Very useful. As my kid will be going to the Orchids The International School, Bangalore in next few more days, I feel it is essential to encourage my little one to take shower twice a day.

 this is abt the article-shower twice a day.it's good.but since we r put up in bangalore,and since my 2 yr old son is a bit allergic, showering twice a day is highly impossible.

 in india some cities face water problem. an alternative is therefore to give a nice hot sponge bath. powder your child well and let him wear freshly laundered clothes. he will have a sound sleep

 that's all good and well, but the more often one showers, the drier the skin becomes. particularly if one has skin conditions, dermatologists will encourage to bathe every other day.

 a very good articla.me and my husband bath twice daily,but for my 5 yr old daughter..i'm not sure..as she has long hair....after bath if its not dried properly won't she catch cold?

 kids should not shower twice a day. kids are supposed to be dirty and sweaty. the cleaner they are when they are young the more susceptible they will be to diseases when they are older. it also drys out the skin and removes helpful oils.

 are you people nuts? showering twice a day? maybe if you wanna raise a bunch of water wasting germ-o-phobes with dried out skin. this is seriously one of the worst pieces of advice i have ever come across. there are other ways to instill discipline to a child. not even adults should shower twice a day, its just plain unhealthy.
