Great tips! We encourage our child at home to pursue dance - she just seems to love it. Though she is moderate in her academics, she performs well in dance. We do not expect her to achieve more in academics; instead we encourage her in dance and have arranged for dance classes. Her school Orchids International too nourishes her passion and she gets a chance to perform at many competitions and functions there.

i think a regular involvement into performing arts like theatre/drama will boost confidence to a great extent. parents should send their children to performing art workshops to see a change.
