 salt and sugar is not good for children under 1. salt can damage immature kidneys and children will never taste the reallt flavour of foods. sugar will give them a sweet tooth and ruin their teeth, fruit already has sweetness, so uses purees to sweeten. adding salt and sugar in baby foods should not be advocated on any responsible website!
