Medical Needs of Toddler

Make a lit of the vaccines and booster doses that is being given to your child and what you need to give. Make sure the list is in such a place that you get reminded 1 – 2 days in advance so that if you are a working woman, you make preparations accordingly.

Care, Hygiene, Security and Development

While dressing up your child try to pay attention to the material of the clothing. Cotton is the best fabric and is suitable for all types of skin and climate. Make sure you focus on cleanliness. Along with clothes, you also need to see that the child develops a set pattern of bowel movement. Make your child visit the bathroom before sleeping.

When the toddler is in between 1 – 3 years of time, you need to teach him and help him form good habits that are helpful for life. Make him help you in any form. It can be handling a small bowl from kitchen to the dining space or you can ask him to arrange plates or bowls or whatever he finds interesting.
