Home Remedy for Acidity

If you are suffering from acidity, you should boil one cup of water with aniseed and leave overnight. Strain the water and add honey. Take it 3 times a day. Also, cut down daily intake of your tea and coffee and also try to avoid colas as far as possible. Smoking and alcohol consumption will only increase your problem. So, keep them away completely or at least limit them.
Eat light, healthy and non spicy food and stay away from fried and greasy food items. Eating at least two hours before sleeping also helps a lot. If you find that acidity is still troubling you, try chewing some mint leaves.

Home Remedies for Diarrhoea

Diarrhoea is given different names in different places. Symptoms being the same, you first need to replace the fluids that your body has lost. Take lime water with salt, curd with salt and coconut water. Make sure you take them in very low amount and frequently. Eating a banana will help. You can also have rice, curd and you can add applesauce to toast as well. No matter what you eat wash your hands before eating and eat very slowly until you get back to normal. Avoid drinking milk until you are completely alright.

Home Remedies for Heartburn or Gas

The main cause of heartburn or gas is indigestion. Some of the people have this because they suffer from lactose intolerance. So, the first thing that you need to know is whether milk is the reason behind your stomach problem or not. If yes, cut down your milk intake to tea and coffee and have yogurt instead of milk. Some people have lentils and legumes intolerance also. If this is the reason in your case, avoid them as far as possible.
Heartburn is also caused due to bad eating habits. So, avoid fried and fast food.
To get some relief from the feeling of fire in your stomach, drink a glass of chilled milk, raise your head when sleeping or elevate the head of the bed. Wear lose and comfortable clothes to get some relief.

Home Remedies for Constipation

If you suffer from constipation, it is important you get it rectified as soon as possible. Drink a lot of water and add fibre to your daily diet schedule. Include fresh fruits and whole grains in your diet so that they help your digestive system work properly.
Take a glass of warm water with lemon juice and salt added to it as first thing in the morning. You can soak raisins overnight and have them empty stomach to get rid of constipation.

Sodium bicarbonate or baking soda is one of the most common home remedies for stomach ailments. It helps eliminate gas and rebalance pH. However, it should be taken in small quantity only.
