my baby is now 15months and i suffered from the same prob when she was 3 months--since then i found a way--i usually give her more ounces of milk than she usually takesa t day time when taking her to bed --thats makes her sleep whole night but allways avoid to give her milk during night--if she still asks--give her water --she will get used to it in some days !!
good luck

my son woke up many times during the night as well around this time. I wasn't weaning yet, but in my case, he awoke because he was hungry. I'm not sure what could be causing the gas, but I'd check your diet and his. Sometimes the change from breastmilk to formula causes digestion problems because it's a change for the body. How long has this been going on? Also, it could be because the baby is just used to waking up at night to feed from you and is more habit than anything else. Or it could also be hunger - try feeding rice cereal and see what happens; feed during the day not before bed as this may be causing gas. Also, make sure your baby is burping before going to bed at night and after every feeding. Hope that makes sense and that it helps.

hi,

ya it might be gas also.as u had started weaning it may give gas to babies.what did u start with?? is it cereal or dals? if dals thn stop it.just start with rice cereal.it is too easy to digest for new weaning babies.give fruits like boiled apple smash.it help reliev gas.n mind well u had just start weaning so give very small quantity of food to him.it will easy to digest.n of ofcz not least give ur milk whenever he cries for.

n for u ,better check ur diet also.try to eat less dal(only tuvar lead to gas),brinjal, potatoes n other carbohydrates food at night.eat more protein based so u supply good quality of milk to ur little one.carbo lead to gas which make ur baby develop gas.

take care
sonu

Sleep Problem due to itchy skin
My baby girl is unable to sleep properly due to skin rashes. I have resumed oil massages to help calm her down and facilitate better sleep, using CITTA Baby Massage Oil. Additionally, I am applying the ointment recommended by her doctor for the rashes. RE:How to Develop a Sleep Routine for your Newborn
According to me this is good but then you cannot force your child to sleep as per your wish as kids as really bad in this and they have a tendency to sleep in day and get up in late night so according to me this is not the key to success, please post if i am wrong.... - Anita [View Message]
