Sleeping:not sleeping

Name: muskan

My son is 14 months old. He only sleeps for just 30-45 minutes during the whole day. He does not like to sleep at night. I wonder he does not like nights at all, that is why he everyday starts crying before the sleep in night. He also gets up very early in the morning. He is like a morning alarm for us. I am just worrie for him because this is hampering his health also. How much hours does a baby should sleep including day and night?

Please help me. Thanks

hi,

babies shud sleep 13 -14 hrs which include day sleep also.day he shud sleep for 2 hrs atleast.try to give him massage n hot milk before sleep at night.he will definately sleep.turn off all lights n make room sound free.do it regularly in particular time everyday n fix his night sleep time.make it a routine.it will help.early morning awake its normal.my baby also wakes up around 6.30 am sometimes.bcz morning sunlight n noises disturb thm alot.

day sleep compensate night sleep.so atleast 2 hrs ur baby shud sleep.try to make him sleep after his lunch.as they are almost drowsy after their lunch.try to turn off tv n close windows n curtains.hug him n make him sleep.

try this n let us know.

take care

Sleep Problem due to itchy skin
My baby girl is unable to sleep properly due to skin rashes. I have resumed oil massages to help calm her down and facilitate better sleep, using CITTA Baby Massage Oil. Additionally, I am applying the ointment recommended by her doctor for the rashes. Could you please provide me with more ideas that can promote better sleep for her?... - Sanchari Tarafdar [View Message]

RE:How to Develop a Sleep Routine for your Newborn
According to me this is good but then you cannot force your child to sleep as per your wish as kids as really bad in this and they have a tendency to sleep in day and get up in late night so according to me this is not the key to success, please post if i am wrong.... - Anita [View Message]
