I am a single mom of a 2yr old, and like most of u even i have the same concern i.e. to be in a group of like minded people so as to give my child a platform to mingle and have some time for myself as well.

its not right at all, in single parenting group the group include men also, and indirectly all women member and talk reach to mens candidate also, so its not safe at all.

its not necessary to need a single parenting group to mingle for kids, its not really great idea, if you want to mingle you can connect with your known people and start mingle with them.

I am a PG psychology student doing my current research on child's attachment style of children with parent's those who got separated or those who got separated and reunited atleast once .
