Hi friends,

This is Liz from Bangalore aged 33.Married for 4 yrs and TTC for 2 yrs.2009 December came to know that I have PCOD.Tried diff medicines like Letroz,Metformin etc.
2011 March onwards started going to Sure Fertility.They did HSG.Doctor Reeta said that my AMH count is 2.62 which is not that good.So on my 2nd day of menstruation last mtn did a baseline test.Follicles were smal..After the menstruation, they started to put me on clomid which is of no help.Then started giving me Ovitrop ....follicles were 1.4, 1.5 cm .. 3 follicles were there.Then again Doc said 3 more Ovitrops need to be taken.Did - yesterday that is 28th Oct.. was follicualr study and she said that follicles stalled due to my bad hormone level.So suggested IVF which will cost around IVF?Note:Ii need to loose more weight as I am 66 kgs now!
So I am now depressed and do not know what to do... Please some suggest.Thanks for all of your kind help!

Hey Liz,

Why don' t u take a second opinion from another doc ?What abt your tubes,ovaries and uterus and hormones...did you do all the tests required for the respective reproductive organs? Was your husband evaluated?? PCOD is quite common nowadays and women successfully become pregnant despite of this condition when properly treated.So,i wud suggest go for another fertility specialist and take from there.ya losing weight will always boost your chances of getting pregnant faster for sure as it almost balances your hormone and keep you relaxed and ready for a healthy pregnancy.

Moreover,dont worry,b happy ! Baby dust on u!:)
