my daughter is 16 months old..........she is very active child but problem is still she don't walk....actually she don't like to stand also.....she can stand with support but she is not interested in standing or walking.......she crawls really fast....and she just likes to crawl........i become very tensed sometimes when i see all other kids of her age running........my pediatric said everything is fine with her.....but can anyone help and tell me how to encourage her to stand and walk......i always try to make her stand by distracting her attention with any toy .......but as soon she realises she is standing she sits down...really i become very worried sometimes ..........don't know wat to doo........can anyone suggest if physical therapy will be good for her........take care all.....
thanxs dony Kranti replied. Hey Dony This is Kranti ..mom a 9 and half month old daughter. I have been readin your posts in the past about your kid not siiting /crawling at the desired time.. Same is the case with my daughter . She does move ahead(creeping)does not crawl. My doctor has suggested therapy for about a month or more. Wanted to know when your kid started crawaling and standing with support gita replied. give her good massage with baby oil every day and while giving her both with warm hot water make her stand and you press her legs while pouring water.
Also I heard people telling to pour rice water khanji after boiling rice in luke warm temp.after bath . console replied. If your pediatrition says everything is fine with her,then dont worry.may be she is a late walker.i have seen kids walking at 18 months too.so there is nothing wrong in keep trying with toys and other things.iam sure your pediatrition will not suggest any kind of physical therapy at her age.she will surely walk within a month or two.
