Hi all..
I am beginning my 22 nd week today..I dont really feel any movements from the baby..or else I am not sure if they are baby movements or not.When did u all start to feel the movements strongly??? All of u say that the baby is kicking so I was wondering from what week that happens??

Hi Poulomi,

I started feeling the baby movements in my 21st week. I was not feeling anything at all till then. Even my doc said that I should have started feeling them but I wasnt. Then suddenly one day I felt like some gas in my stomach, more like bubbles bouncing in my stomach. Later I read somewhere that what I felt was the baby move. I have just started my 23rd week now. Now the baby moves but not all the time.

Dear Poulomi
I started to recognise movements somewhere in my 23rd week ...
I am in week 25 now.

After reading various posts online, I too was worried and kept asking my doc right from my 20th week if everything was ok because I wasn't feeling anything strong.

I felt slight flutters periodically and that was it.

It is different for every woman. Especially with the first baby, we don't quite know what to expect and hence the delay in recognising the movements.

Please don't feel anxious over this. I am sure you will start to recognise your baby's movements real soon.

Also,during your monthly visits, please keep checking with your doc.

Hey me too started feeling strong movements only in my 23rd week. Till then i guess there were some movements but I couldnt differentiate. But now as everyday is passing I will the movement strongly & more frequently. THis is my 24th week going on. SO dodnt worry you should start feeling movements soon.
