Name: Garima Hello to all parents

My baby is 15 days only and he is having severe cold and stuffy nose. can anybody advise, what to use for such a small child. I am trying nasoclear as advised by ped but it does not work. i have tried one liquid capsule (KARVOL plus containing camphor, chlorithymol, eucalyptol, menthol, teripineol)by applying it on his clothes. but it also does'nt work.

Try Mucolite 3 times with 10 drops and also steem the baby while feeding. This will surly help.

For Stuffy nose

Hi,

My son suffers stuffy nose quite frequently. My PED recommended a saline nasal drop called Rhine. This is highly effective. Use it over 4~5 times in a day and especially during the nights. You can also try a cold diffuser for infants called Mucolite. It certainly helps. With Rhine and Mucolite, the muscus just come out through stools and you can clean the baby's nostrils using a ear bud.

You can also use a vicks humidifier, it will help the baby breathe a lil better, while clearing out the mucus. I've used it, and it really helps.

The best thing to do is put a drop of saline drop in his nodtrils and suck the mucus out with a bulb syringe.that will really help.
