I am working in a multinational company as a project manager and earning very well. My husband is also in Public sector company working as manager. I am born and brought up in Pune . My parents are well settled in Pune . It is two years now I have moved to Delhi because my husband' s office is in Delhi .My husbands family is settled in Kochi Kerela.
My husband supports his family financialy , rather all expenditure at his home is given by him. I have always supported him for that .
Recently my husband' s office has opened up a small office in Pune so I requested him that we shift to Pune ..so that we will atleast be near my parents and when we have kids it will be very helpful. But his parents are very much against it they say not to go near wife' s place . They say either be in Delhi or come to Kochi or Bnaglore . I just dont want to go to either of these places because it will not help us anyway.Please help how should I convince my husband . As a working wife I think my husband should help andsupport me by moving to pune .Please advise Piaa Raj replied. Hi
Parents are parents and children and children , you are futuristic and practicle in your thought process but you also need to get rational. when you marry you step up ur role adn life since you have been able to manage work and husband well with a bit of planing and co-ordination am sure you will be a gr8 mom besides there are so many baby sitting options in todays metro i am of the opinion young panrents should also be independent if your mom could bring u up without much help. and with limited resources.. u too can do justise but keep in mind of not straining your relations with your inlaws as they too are you family although extended..
