Hello I am writing from Australia. I would like to invite my childs best friend from school to stay with us for the weekend. She is a 6 year old hindi girl. I have no knowledge of her customs. Are hindus vegetarian?

Most Hindus are not vegetarian and are very very diverse in their food habits. As such it is more likely to be ' family specific' than ' generic.

Its not necesaary that hindu will be vegetarian only, but usually all kids in India like dishes made frm potato , cheese, eggs, kidney beans(rajma), chickpeas(white chana) with indian bread or rice.N they do eat international food too so u need not worry. They all relish pizza, burger,cookies, cakes etc too
