Hi, yes the most popular snacks is sandwiches, I prefer wheat bread for sandwiches, good for digestion and it contains fibre also, and almonds are really good but some where I had read only two almonds are advisable in a day to get its effect you cannot munch like peanuts.

Most popular snacks with my kids is different sandwiches I make. I use different fillings and spreads to make different sandwiches. sometimes I use colourful spreads such as mint spread for green colour, tomato chutney for red colour, mayonnaise for white colour and peanut butter for brown colour.. so with a little bit of imagination, I make the simple boring stuff very interesting. They also look very beautiful and tempting. sometimes to make them more tempting i also make faces or drawings on them.

Hey great and interesting ideas. Really so innovative. I do this type of imagination for making idlis. colourful idlis. As my son rarely eats veggies, so i fill in idli batter with different veggies. Carrot shredding give red colour, spinach pureed idlis are green in colour and turmeric when added gives a nice yellow colour. so different coloured idlis when arranged in a plate looks tempting and my son picks up an idli by playing a choosing game,.

I am a mother of two growing kids. My kids frequently feel hungry as they are quite active so I have to always think of new ways of making snacks and other interesting ideas for snacks. I try to whip up quick snacks with simple ingredients. My kids love my recipes. Recently I made a pizza out of suji. It was very wholesome and filling. I put in a lot of vegetables in it and so it was very nutritious. now my kids always want me to make this.
