Hello alll,
How r u all? n ur angles...

M gettin lil worried now.. My dd is 9th Aug.. had docs appointmnt 2day.. bt he says my cervix hasnt opened even a bit yet..

Dont no wht to do.. he advised me to have castor oil..n said walking longer wont help much..
Does ne1 have any idea or tips on wht to do to bring the baby lower down?? If the baby doesnt slp down n the mouth cervix mouth doesnt open... vl have to do c section..

Please advise..

hi priti,

Do not worry. During my first pregnancy, i didnt dilate or efface a bit until my 40th week. only 5 days before my due date, i dilated jsut 1 cm. The doctor said he will induce me after 2 days.(@ 5pm appt)..and i was really worried...but that night my water broke, and when i went to the hospital i was 80% effaced and 7 cm dilated - just within 6 hrs!! and i had my baby boy within 4 hrs. All happened in the same day.....Baby knows the best....do not worry and enjoy the last few days of the pregnancy.

I m sailing in the same boat as u guyzz....My due date is 23rd Aug and still no head engagement. But I ve heard that the head engages even after the labor pain starts...so B HOPEFUL AND POSITIVE....and preeti, I ve heard castor oil is a good option...U can try that!!!!

I dunno what to tell you... Am in the 39th week and I am not dilated, no effacement and the baby has not dropped... The doc told me if nothing happens in a week by the next appt, then they will do a scan to see the baby' s position and if they feel something is not right, they will do a C-sec for me too... My due date is 21st Aug...

I know you are due day after tomorrow, and my case is different, but just wanted you to know that am also kind of in the same situation and many of my friends have gone in to natural labor suddenly on their due dates or a day or 2 after that...

Don' t take tension, just relax and talk to your baby... Ask him / her to come soon...

horlicks with milk
i know for sure horlicks is absolutely fine with milk.. but in pregnancy i was adviced to have mother' s horlicks since it has DHA and some other stuff that are good for the baby...
