Sweety, chill babes... Take it easy... If you stress so much over the inducing thingy, your BP will not come down to normal... I know dear, it is tough... Am in the 39th week now... My baby has not engaged too and no dilation and no effacement... And the worst part is that my baby is too heavy than normal... They said, if by next week appt the baby has not dropped or no signs of dilation etc, then they will plan a C-Sec for me... My appt is on Thursday, so am nervous too... I cried a lot today, but all I have understood is that we should stay calm so that it doesn' t harm our baby in any way... Just relax ok... That' s all I can tell you...

Drink lots of fluids so that you pee out all the water that has retained in your feet... Keep your feet up and don' t do too much of strainous work... Please please please remember baby, worrying and taking tension won' t help you in any way... My sister had her first pregnancy end up in an induction too... It is not that bad... I feel C-Sec is worse... Which I might get... hehehe... But dear, at the end of the day, what you get in return is your darling baby, for whom you waited patiently for 9 months... Don' t panic now... Be bold...

Love to your little one... And yeah love, wishes and prayers are always there for you...

Love,
Vini :)

Hi Vidhi,

I just want to advise you to stay calm and relaxed at this time as taking tension is not good for the baby. I am sure that the doctors want to do whats best for the baby, so if they feel that induction is the best choice, then let than happen and just be thrilled to experience the new joy in your life. With my first pregnancy, it was natural labour, so I can' t give you lot of advise on inducing, but what I have heard , it is not bad..just a way to bring baby few days here and there!!

Stay calm...looking forward to hear good news from you!!

Take care
Neeti

Hi,
Can you please tell me if you had a normal delivery.
I have heard that most big hospitals have a very low percentage of normal deliveries and most deliveries are c-section... - toto [View Message]
