Name: Julie I am taking 2 susten tabs vaginally every day since day 25th of my pd and my period was due on 21st feb- I still haven't gotten it- its 34th day- ques is- does taking progestorone supplement like Susten delay periods? Does it affect the Pregnancy tests- yeild a false result?

My beta HCG came below 1.2 so meaning not pregnant but still I haven't gotten any period.

Hi Julie,
yes, Progest. supplements will delay the period sometimes. Thats why a home pregnancy test will give a false positive if u take it while on medication, A very low HCG count means there is no pregnancy. But keep trying. I'm sure you'll be pregnant soon.
