Intelligent Child:My child watches TV

Name: Kasturi I have tried to get my child to take up reading but it is not working. Every day, she only wants to see the television. From morning to night, she sits in front of the TV. If I give her a book, she does not even want to look at it. I am really fed up with trying to make her read. I do not know what to do with her habit. I think last option is to just remove the cable connection. I really repent for starting this cable service in my house. I do not know how to stop my child from watching TV.
