Hi all,

My son is 6 months old. From last few days he has severe cough and cold. I had shown to ped and giving him medicin/ steam/ Saline nosal drops But not much improvement.
Please anybody can refer some homemade remedy.

Its very difficult for the baby when he has cold.I have tried many home remedies almost all.. when my son has cold.But this really worked for him.U can try it.Eucalyptus oil is very good for colds.get a good pure oil.Take some almond oil as a base or any vegetable oil.put few drops of eucalyptus oil and lavender oil.I rub on his chest ,back and sides,lega.It gives good relief.I got this remedy from the net.It worked good.or else u can do this, put it on a
piece of cotton material (hanky) and lay it by the bed to inhale while
sleeping.DOntb apply the oil directly 'coz hes too young.Or u can even put in your bath.
Run a hot shower for about 3-4min.Close all doors in bathroom to let the steam build up.Then make ur baby to sit on ur lap in the room with the steam and let him/her take deep breathes until steam has dissapated.The steam will help open the lungs.Works
