hi my daughter is one year old and her weight is 7 and a half kg..she is poor in eating and doesnt take bottle feed at all now i want her to stop taking my breaast feed..cuz she wants it all the time..i have to feed her several times..day and night..thats leaving me in pain..please let me know how can i make her leave my feed..waiting for ur reply eagerly..thanks Nalini replied. you dont have to worry so much if you have other children in your neighborhood with whom you can send your daughter to play she will naturally ask for food you can give her a regular meal say rice and dal and fruit juices and involve her in playing with toys at home and you do not mention how many times you nurse her do it this way if 8 times a day slowly reduce feeds and breastfeed only once at bedtime a month and then stop althogether but be patient hope my advice is useful juhy replied. Try giving her whole milk while she ask for breast feeding.you can feed her tru cup also.stop one feeding at a time and slowly after 3 or 4 days stop other.you can also give her some oter fruit juices or snacks and distract her by taking her out or some other entertainment.
at night you can keep some milk at your side and when she comes to feed you can give her by using a dropper.
to increase her weight give her ghee or butter at every solid feeding and give her only whole milk and yougurt made out of whole milk.give her all the foods that are denser in calories.
