I was friends with a lady and because of my own competitive spirit and insecurities, now that friendship has come to an end, is what i believe. But the thing is my daughter who is 3 yrs old was great friends with her daughter. And I know that she is going to miss her friend a lot. I just wanted to ask some experts or anyone around, whether it is really going to affect my daughters relationships and friendships in her future. I am someone who really makes even the most simplest of relationships or friendships complex. I don' t want my daughter to have the same kind of attitude. Till now I have seen that she is a happy kid who loves having her friends around, I want her to stay that way. I don' t want her to turn out the way I am. So any comments or advices will be encouraged. me replied. Sounds like you wrote this when you were really low...you weren' t thinking positively about urself. First thing - Why do you have a negative competitive attitude? There has to be a reason...explore and try to understand your weakness. Do not blame yourself. You will be fine if you treat urself well and start from the root cause.
As far as your daughter is concerned, she will have her own individuality irrespective of your influences. You will be surprised how children change us by making us think for them more than ourselves. When you think about ur daughter, u are on the process of changing something in u which is not right...so move on slowly and you will be ok.
Identify what is bothering you most right now. If it' s that broken friendship, try and mend it. One small effort may finish all ur inhibitions.
