Hi all!! I got a job after a lot of effort and I have to join immediately. I am 26 year old. Right now I am a housewife married for 2.5 years with a 1.3 year old baby. I have the same hair style i.e. a plait till my lower back (really really boring and I am sick of it) from 22 years. And I have the same dressing style from ever since I stopped wearing uniform in school i.e salwars. But I am really scared to try a different style now. I even have a nose ring. My in-laws are very orthodox. But I really need a change. Can somebody please tell me how to go about it... Or can u please suggest a good parlour in Bangalore. My parents stay in mumbai. So if u suggest me any place in mumbai I think I can go there when I go to visit my parents. But please help me!!! neha1 replied. TP has given excellent suggestions:).....
its true that u need not waste your money on parlors may b except for going in for threading or waxing etc.....and as far as clothes r concerned u can very well wear salwars in office too...its accceptable...may b to look more stylish u could try somthing like short lenght tops in cotton etc..... You dont need to go to a costly parlour for your makeover.
Be well groomed at all times. You can’t risk looking shabby at office because your personality determines your impression.

Formal’ is the commonly accepted dress code in all offices. Many offices have these days have relaxed their dress code to allow informal and semiformal attire on Fridays and Saturdays. Whatever the case might be, it is always advisable to play safe in office.

Try these tips :

-Go for a haircut,you wrote that your hair length is till yoru back , trim it till yoru shoulder.If you want volume go for step cut or give soft perm your hair.If you want staright look , then go for rebonding or straightening.You can also go for a hair colour.Blonde colour is out of fashion so go for a dark brown black colour.

-Re do your wardobe , for office wear select very simple salwar suits - which are not of very loud colours.The neck cut should not be very deep.Or even designer crepe sarees if worn elegantly look classy.Make sure that your blouse cuts are not very deep.for western wear , make sure you have a black, white ,dark blue and grey trousers - team them up with few light coloured shirts.They look very good in work place.Always opt for smart formal/ semiformal outfits like Pants with Shirts, Pant Suits, formal Skirts with shirts, Cotton Sarees, smart Salwar suits or contemporary Churidaar Suits

-If you wear a nose ring , it would good if you can wear a small stud instead of the ring.Nose rings usually dont go for well for office.If possible change them to small studs.Small colourful studs look good.Select a colour that goes well with your skin tone.

-Wear sleek and trendy jewelry. But keep it minimal. You could wear midsized danglers in silver or faux metals. Alternately go for no-fuss ear studs. A chain or a stylish pendant should be all for the neck.Don’t wear too many bangles or jewelry like anklets etc.

-Choose between closed-toe shoes, pumps and mid heel sandals. Avoid strappy shoes. If you are wearing a skirt, nylons are a must

Good appearance is a part of building a good impression. Your clothes form an integral part of your personality. Choose your office attire with care and your colleagues will not only take you seriously but also appreciate your dress sense.
