i am 24 years old and just got married 4 months back. we r in U.S. for lst 1 month. my family and my husband' s family is in india. my hubby' s younger sister is here in US. they(she and her hubby) are nice ppl. but her in laws r very narrow minded ppl. like typical in laws kind. her hubby issupportive and ok with her. and hers was an arranged marr...mine is a love marr..now for her brothers marr(my other BIL) she wants to come to india and stay with her parents for 10 days and then attend the marr and go. but her in laws r cruel ppl and have asked he to come only to their house and go to her mom s house for 1-2 days if she wants. this has made her upset and in turn my hubby who is her elder bro and even my in laws r upset because they r all seeing their daughter aftr one yr. she has a 1 yr ols daughter too. i am also feeling abd. but now i am worried...i thought ill also go abnd b with my parents for 4-5 days and come for the marr after tht..since we r all going to india togwether...but i am scared to tell thi now.....incase they react sayin dont go. since it happened wit their daughter they may ill treat me too. my in laws r not very orthodox though. but still i am scared. ofcourse they themselvessaid our both bahus are lucky. we are not very orthidiox. but i have my own worries.
wat can i make out of this situation. will they treat methe way their daughter is being treated.....
