I wouldn't say I have an unusual problem, infact I believe that a lot of women may have gone through what I am going through. So please help.
My husband - can not say no to a drink. He is a social drinker and he doesn't drink every day but when he gets together for a drink then he goes over the top. A couple of weeks ago he had 4 drinks, then drove home in a rage, while having a fight with me in the car. I had \";dared\"; to suggest that I drive home. My young son and I were terrified the whole way.
I have tried to get his mom to speak to him (she has the most influence over him), but her effort was also half hearted as she says his father is also the same. The fact that they are the same doesn't solve my problem, infact it is used as an excuse to let him off the hook!
I enjoy a drink once in a while too, but I feel that what we do in our early years as teens it is fine now we are parents it is the time for us to set an example to our son.
what should I do?
