I have a 13 year old daughter who is a really talented guitarist and wants to learn more and grow. Her current school in Palakkad does not offer a lot of freedom and I’m looking for CBSE schools with a strong music teaching faculty and infrastructure.

Hi Raj, Kerala is always known for is education system and literary rate. There are a lot of schools which are spread around in palakkad area. Try checking with any of your neighbours

Yes you should put her in a school which would appreciate her talent and interest and will be happy to help her learn more about it and grow. You can also find her a good teacher who would teacher her personally.

i really don't know if they take music seriously in any school level they must have musc classes but i don't know about much encouragement they get in school atleast for music.

My son is a budding violinist and I too had the same problem. But now that I have enrolled him in Tattva School, Bangalore, I’m very happy as various music classes are imparted to students by expert music teachers there.
Also, SPIC MACAY, which is a non-profit organisation for the promotion of Indian Classical Music and Culture, is associated with the school and my son has been a part of the events they conduct all over India. The school has really nurtured his talent and I’m really grateful for the facilities and opportunities the school provides my son.
You can think of enrolling your daughter there too.
