i haven't told anyone yet. i am in my 7th week. I will tell my parents once i hear the heart beat of baby which is gonna be in next week i hope. The rest of them i will tell after my 1st trimester.
So it depends on personal decision. If u want u can share with ur parents now but wait for 1st trimester to rest of people

Close family -parents ,brothers, ur real close friends..u can tell them once confirmed with doc. Relatives,aquaintances can wait 3 months till fetus fully developed. Won't show till then so its safe people understand.
WOrkplace, again depends if u have someone really close u can tell them, I have told my friend at work not anyone else, mainly seen people reduce workload when u are pregnant, so will tell collegues after 3-4 months. Boss' here very informal so won't be a problem to tell. Agree with what susan specified u should say..

I am due in Oct. I have already shared our news with our family members and close friends. We told our parents/bro/sis as soon as my home pregnancy test showed positive. And close friends we told once it was confirmed by my doctor. About work place, I dont know much as I'm not working. But I think u should inform ur immediate boss to whom u report. And maybe u can inform ur very close friend in the office but others I think theres no need to inform. They will automatically come to know once u start showing. As regards to how to tell ur boss - u can tell him that u have some good news to share. Tell him that u are expecting and inform your due date. Bye.
