Good to hear from you, nope I am not from Mumbai, basically from Hyd, now in USA for the past 5 years.
Child birth classes seem to be helpful even if it is not your first pregnancy, relaxing and breathing techniques are rewarding especially for a worrier like me !!

Hi, Jyotsna, i do have some streching but not much. I specially feel it when I eat dinner. So I go for a walk. I am not sure wearing a belt is normal or not, so can not help much. And you are most welcome in oct club. Padmaja, when is your EDD? I am so worried about my BIG DAY. I am reading as much as I can, really scared!!!

Nowadays I feel like drinking lot of water and had to go for toilet at least once in 2 hrs (even at night), do u girls think its normal?

I am basically from Pune.

keep in touch.
Sakhi

Hi sakhi,
Dont worry too much.I read a lot during my 1st pregnancy--really a lot and this time round i have done nothing(my 2nd pregnancy now),have been real cool.I walk, bend, cook and do everything normally except by evenings i collapse(laugh).I did go thru labor pains and yes nothing prepares u for it.(i ended up with a caesarian and nothing prepares u for that either)..so for my 2nd one due october 20th or 19th,i am keeoing an open mind.
Do ask your gynaec and clarify any doubts you have and questions as well as to whether your husband can be in the labor room with you(it helps a lot).Ive been told by many friends that one shldnt panic and one shld go to the hospital only when the pain intensifies. If you do go to the hospital, make sure they allow u to walk about freely rather than being confined to a bed.Do keep in touch and yes--being a mother is truly a wonderful delightful experience and im saying that for my 6 yr old daughter.take care and keep smiling
