Hi girls,

My name is subashini.I am new to this group.I read your messages daily.

Even i had a miscarriage in Feb month.That was my 3 rd month starting.I got pregnant in dec month.We tried for almost 4 months to get pregnant.Both we were so happy that i got pregnant.I had irrugular periods before.So doctor advised me to do Ultrasound.When we went to do that we came to know that my fetus did not have a heartbeat and it was not growing at all.

Doctor told us it is a miscarriage.we were totally depressed and so frustrated bcoz of this.Then i had gone through D & C.I was bleeding for almost 2 weeks.Now my health is good.
I am so scared to try for another baby now.I don't know how things will go next time.Just thought i will share my thoughts with u girls.....Give me some good advise.What shd i do when i concive next time and what i shdn't?

I read your message.I am so sorry for your loss.Don't worry.I know how much pain it is!!i know lots of girls who had miscarriage in their first pregnency.They got pregnant and they had a healthy baby also.

So we pray god to have a healthy pregancy next time.....

Your case is exactly like mine. I conceived in Dec end and when I was going to complete my 3 months I had the same problem. They couldn't hear the heart and U/S and followed by D&C. There is absolutely nothing to worry. As Archie said, it is better to wait for 3 cycles atleast. My Doc has given me Rubella vaccination. She has also asked me to take folic acid and iron tablets. Wait patiently and refresh your mind in this time. Try with positive attitude next time and everything will go well.

When fetus stops developing further is called Missed Abortion a type of miscarriage. Most of the time missed abortion is taken care by D&C this can be more strenous on girl going through.

Subha trying once again is perfectly fine when you have noticed your periods are back to normal and you gave another three cycles. This is a time you should give to your body to recover from loss.

While trying next make sure you are getting done with your preconceiption check up and tests performed, so that you know nothing needs to be taken care on medical front.

Make sure that you get a prescription of Folic acid and some iron from your care provider, eating them would help boosting levels of folic acid necessary for fetus in first 45 days of gestation.

Rest well, eat healthy and make sure you get your weight in Body Mass Index (if you don't know this ask your Dr.).
