My kids look forward to story telling sessions which happens during bedtime. They wait for me to finish my work and then tell them a story. Each day they give me a topic and i have to tell a story to them on that. i make different voices and make use of exclamations to make the story more interesting. sometime i also ask them to participate. Jayanti replied. We have a unique concept of story telling in our family. Each night my husband starts a story and stops midway then our kids have to continue the story by using their imagination. this way the story continues for a longer time and each and everybody participates ion the session. this helps in developing good imaginative power as well as good speaking skills. the kids themselves also become a part of the story. it is a good way to end the day on a happy note.
