Hi, I' m 5 Weeks 1 day Preg now. Had been to the doc yesterday. He said based on the USG that so far he cant detect the heartbeat of the baby... I read in some other sites that generaly heart starts beating after 5 wks. M worried. Anybody else went for an ultrasound, could you see the heart movements?

It' s too early to detect heart beat.
Do not worry at all dear.
Heart beat is detected after 7th week so wait till then and do not let unwanted thoughts enter your mind.

Relax that' s what your baby needs!

it' s still TOO early for the heartbeat to get detected.. most people get this scan done only after the 6th or 7th week.. please wait and don' t rush into making a wrong decision of going ahead with the next step.. wait for a couple of weeks more.. if your present doc doesn' t agree then speak to another doctor who will understand your need to wait.. u have to be convinced yourself before taking any other step

Thanx dear, yes I´ ll be going for my next scan after 7 weeks, my Doc is ggod and it was the stupid radiologist who got me worried. Nyways, now that I´ ve got your support, m fine. Thanx again and lets stay in touch here.
