I get very irritated when my hubby keeps repeating that his mom used to prepare this and that, and she used to force him to eat ..bla bla.. and that she used to prepare in large quantity ..... same thing over and over... its sooo irritating....... i have replied him many times that not only his every mom on earth will do it for their children,, it does not effect him in anyway the same thing goes on like a circle. please suggest me how should i handle this . for that matter even animals take care of their off springs :D it also sound very childish for me )and at the same time i get soo angry on him conf replied. these days i have just started ignoring when he starts talking about it, i act as if i did not hear anything...... every single day he has to bring this topic Chandra replied. I hate when husbands do that. It' s sooooo immature of them. My husband said something along those lines to me once, I said, ' well I' m not your mom, so if you want something cooked a certain way, or want something done a certain way, I' m sure she would LOVE to do it for you, and I can attend to my own needs'
I wasn' t even angry about it. Hey, if I let it bother me, whats it gonna do. Nothing. I used to care, but I just brush it off.

If you want to ' get back' and stoop to his level, you can say, ' MY DAD used to do this or that for me' , and walk away:)
