Hi Anu,
Thanks for your coments. Actually I don't know the reason for keeping puli and chilli..But I think all these items are mandatory for cooking no? So if we keep on that day in front of God, Then our house will always be without any difficiency of groceries.
Means .. we will be good.. :-)
All the best!

Subject:  Check list for house warming!

HI Anu,

I give the list of things to do during house warming which I used to do..

Get 1 kg sugar,1 kg temrind(puli),1 kg stone salt,1 kg dry chiili.
keep these items in separete bowls and keep them in front of the God' photo. Keep in mind that Ganapathi should be there.
Light 1 big kutthu vilakku.
Have tumeric, kumkum in front of god.
Heat 1 li. milk or more than that ..depends on u..
If it is new vessal it is very good. Make the milk leak..little bit..
Have the milk in one new tumler without sugar and keep it in front of God's photo.
broke the coconut and do the pooja. At last add sugar in the remaining milk , have it as couple and then give to others.
This is I am doing..
By god's grace We r doing well..

Hope this will helpful to u..

All the best!
