Hi everyone..

Am physcially exhausted, got sinus prob, ear aches, head aches, but had u/s y´ day and got my antibiotics too..but mentally relieved, and its a girl..am thrilled to bits...not sure if i would react diff if it was a boy, but glad anu (my older daughter) has a sister, esp. after all that me and my sister shared past 5 years including the fights..losing parents, wedding.etc ..couldn´ t think of sharign so much with a brother..though i do think brothers can be very caring too. :)
I am just glad baby is fine..healthy as far as we know now. I was too worried with whole of last week coughing, no sleep no taste, no urge to eat..so was worried if all would be fine esp with me running around more, so glad all is fine.
Anu is very excited, she had no doubts..all along said want sister no boys :) so she was just happy to tell grandparents..and see u/s. says snce we call chinnu at home, she says she will call her chikku, school name can be dorothy (after wiggles dinosaur:)). am hopign and praying next few months go fine..am exhausted with the discomforts and sleeping on sofa upright. .now just need some good names for girls if u have any..something that the kids won´ t think one has better name than other..anushka being partly russian..i know anya, but initial list earlier we had medha, anjali, priyanka, anika, not sure if we want it rhymed..or just name that feels right..have to sort the old list we had.
If any have suggestions, would help.
Thanks for listening to the long message..
Take care..and do pray everything goes fine..was sick, nervous and worried till y´ day.
Wish all of u the best too and hoping and praying all goes fine for all moms in the group.
Hope all do update and share too.
Thanks
Radhika

Hi Radhika,

Congratulations! Good for you you are getting another baby-girl - I have a son and wanted a girl this time, but yesterday we had the US - looks like my sons wish came true and he' s having a baby-brother like he wanted.

As for the name, I had decided on Anisha if I had a girl. consider it if you like it.

take care,
Anu

Hi Radhika,

Congrats on the good news.
Sadly enough in India we cannot find out the sex of the baby beforehand. Not that it matters eitherways, but it surely helps us to be mentally prepared.
Hey, how does the name Mihika sound to you?? It means dew drops. But sounds nice isnt it????

Almonds are good for babies and you can give them so happily but it would be better give them by making it as milk. But in initial you give baby in minimum quantity then later increase the quantity.... - Siri [View Message]
