Crying & Colic:For gas relief

Name: supriya ega Hi, I have a 10 weeks old baby girl. scince I don' t have enough milk for her I started giving her Enfamil LIPIL formula for her, with that formula she won' t cry but she is passing gas a lot.When she is sleeping she will be waking up often whenever she passes gas and she gets disturb. Because of that she is not sleeping well.
Actually few weeks back I saw one gujarathi lady who is giving her 4 weeks old baby by mixing formula in brown colored water, First i thought apple juice but afetr asking her she said some kind of home made water(by boiling some kind of spices in water).But she don' t know english to tell me what she is mixing.
So can anyone suggest me something which makes my baby less gassy. and I need home based treatment like something to mix in formula or something to give her directly.

You must be think that by giving repeated medicines children will not can be prepared for any thing in future. Neela replied. Hi Supriya,
So you must be very sure about the health of your baby because as kids they will be easily effected also and it must be good to maintain the neat and hygienic around the baby also. Nirmala replied. Hi Supriya,

you can help baby release gas by pressing her both legs on her stomach after a light massage on her stomach. she will feel relieved and yes dont forget to burp her after her feeds,

if ur child having a gas prblm pls.. apply little bit of asafoetida(hing) powder with ghee on ur baby stomach.this mixture not only relieve' s baby frm gas prblm but also help in stomachache.so whn ur child is sleeping u can gently apply without disturbing baby

If u are giving formula to ur child and the baby has gas...try the Dr.Brown bottles they have tubes inside the bottles which help capture the gas and baby gets to drink only the milk. This worked with my son. Iam not sure if these feeding bottles are available in india.
