Diet and Exercise:Pre pregnancy planning

Name: Shyama S

Hi,

I am 30 now and got recently married.
Height 5.4 and weight 53. No habits of smoking (not passive smoker either) drinking (not even soft/cold drinks), have only tea twice a day.
1 Because of my age, I am thinking to start a family. However, would like to know if I can wait for a year and then go ahead. For which after reading few blogs on this site, I decided to get the pre pregnancy tests done. which will help me to take a decision whether immediate or after a year.

2 I wanted to go for normal delivery, for which I need advice from experts, how can I plan this from now onwards.. in terms of yoga/exercise and the diet, which will help me do so.
Please suggest with some information on this.
Also for information, I do not smoke/drink (even soft/cold drinks), tea is sure twice a day. No other habits, not even passive smoker.

Also, I am in bangalore, in white field (AECS layout), kinldy suggest any doc for the pre pregnancy test.

Please advice.

Thanks
Shyama

diet during pregnancy
Maintaining a healthy diet during pregnancy is very important.

During this time, your body needs additional nutrients, vitamins and minerals.

In fact, you may need 350–500 extra calories each day during the second and third trimesters.

A diet lacking in key nutrients may negatively affect the baby’s development.
