Name: MISTY HEY EVERYBODY. I JUST HAVE A QUESTION FOR YOU. I AM NOT INDIAN I AM AMERICAN BUT MY HUSBAND IS INDIAN AND WE ARE EXPECTING OUR FIRST BABY 9-1-03. MY HUSBAND HAS NO FAMILY HERE IN AMERICA AND I AM INTERESTED IN THE INDIAN CUSTOMS ON PREGNANCY AND PARENTING. I WAS JUST WONDERING IF ANYBODY KNEW OF A WEBSITE I COULD READ THAT WOULD TELL ME ANYHTING ABOUT IT. OF COURSE LIKE MOST MEN MY HUSBAND KNOWS NOTHING ABOUT BABIES OR PREGNANCY. IF ANYBODY KNOWS PLEASE LET ME KNOW. THANKS FOR YOUR HELP.

Hi Misty,

I don't know as such any site's name which can give you details about the Indian customs on Preg. but you can always search. As such what Indian customs in particular you want to know ? I'm a Hindu girl and these days I'm not following any such customery thing !!!! Just that everyone at home an dat work takes care of me and specially my hubby. Ask me to drive slow, no exersions, not heavy long hours work, etc, etc, But yes, in the seventh month of pregnancy, we indians do have some customery celebrations for the coming baby and mom-to-be. Thats all I know. By the way, My EDD is August 11 and as such we don't have any preference for the gender of the baby because it is going to be my first child and all I want is a normal delivery and a healthy child. :)

Congrats first of all !!! Now, tell me what exactly are you looking for ??? I have no idea probably on the web-link for Indian customs on Preg. but yes if you have certain thoughts in mind do feel free to ask me. I 5 months preg., stays in New Delhi, India and I'm a working girl. How about u ???
