Done! Minimum fuss- well as minimum as Mumbai municipality can allow ( only a 2 hour wait!!). We are through!! Theres such a wait off my back. This govt stuff always frightens me. But clearly India is changing or else my son has some serious angels watching over him and us :)
I'll tell you why this si such a big deal for me- my husband currently out of the country- merchant navy and these things had to be done in the given time frame and with a power of attorney. So it was mostly me and my MIL or me going solo for the court stuff and the lawyers and the registration. Hubby was only theer for the fun part of bringing Dev home... mvr.vvk replied. Hema
Im sorry, did u register to start an adoption process? i too am from Bombay (husband from Madras) but we are both living and working in Kuwait with our daughter.
We wish to look into starting adoption process and hope you can help with your own personal experience
