Dear Asha,
Sorry if that was miscarriage. However without knowing you were pregnant impossible to say that you lost your little one.

Can I ask you a question, why would you not take a test when you did not experience period on the expected day or see your Dr? Next time don't do this. Because Folic acid like components are essential only in first 45 days of gestation, if you lack them and don't get during time the baby will not develope well or take birth with Neural Tube Defect.

Sorry if I sound little strong.

Dear Asha,
Thank God you got me in correct spirit, was worried if I offended you, but had to remind that when it's time then take a test, better to know than in dark.

Someone also told me before in pregnancy clubs that her Dr. wanted her to be 8 weeks before making any test, that's absolutely unfair. I managed to convince her and she saw another Dr. right on the day. She is doing good.

I somehow don't understand some Dr why do they have such rules!

Keep apart, you will have to change Dr. if needed, this is important.

About fact sleeping 2 days prior to ovulation was the best choice and you could get very well pregnant with that timings!

Hit the same way again. Try to take only Folic acid, don't get into too many suppliments at this stage. Remember the day you think you missed period you should test with your next day morning urine.

With that information Dr. will be ready to perform blood test and will see you. Of course this it self will get you somewhere in 7th week of pregnancy. This does not mean you should wait for seven weeks to call Dr.

I tested a week later my period was due and next morning called Drs. office and they did test. Right 4-5 days after test I was with my Dr. to hear heartbeat.

It's important as the first trimester is sensitive and chances of abortion are high before 11-12 weeks.

You can use OPK and sleep one night before expected ovulation. I know you want a boy, this will increase chances.
