Hi all,
I need suggestions from all experienced parents out there about feeding patterns for 1 year old kid. I have a son who eats first meal (essentially cerelac in milk and 1/4 parantha with me) at 11.30 as he gets up very late(within 30 mins of getting up) then i leave for work.during day he hardly takes some vegetable with some curd which is only half a bowl(after bath which is 2- 2.30 pm) then sleeps for some time and takes an apple and orange mix on getting up at around 5.30-6 pm and when am back I give him either a banana or an omlette at around 7 then make khichdi sometime also add on some vege to it and give him nearly 1 bowl but i make a point to finish off before 9.45 so that there is enough time gap b/w his supper and feed. H eloves milk and takes a bottle at night but now days he vomits as he stretches his body for lying on bed and doesn't take burp. Am worried for his vomiting situation. Need suggestions for either I reduce his feeds but he is only average weight and Doc says that he needs solids and can't cut milk since he loves feed in bottle and doesn't leave till its over and sometimes even wants more. What shouls be ideal time for last meal for a kid. I want to reschedule the timing to make him sleep early since now he sleeps at 11.30 which is very late. I personally feel 1.30 hrs gap b/w meal and milk should be good but he is still vomiting on few days. Am absolutely short of ideas. I either give him something light at dinner. What to do!!!!!!!!!!!!
