Hi All

I had my 4th month review on Saturday.. everything was ok.. I have gained about 2.5 Kgs till now... Started Iron and a protien supplement. Will be having my 20 week anamoly scan on the 20th of June.. Doc said it will be a 3D one.. waiting for that now :). Other than that I have to do a GTT this Saturday as I had gestational diabetes the first time.. praying that everything turns out to be normal...Have not felt movements after the first time about 10 days back...will have to wait for another 3 to 4 weeks before it becomes strong and I can feel it... thats the update from me.. do write in and share how all of you are doing...

My best wishes for you. You will be absolutely fine, so do not worry. I too had a USG this Saturday, the report says baby is absolutely fine. The little one weighs 181 gms. Went for a 4th month checkup yesterday. Have gained 2 kgs.I am in my 18th week and have not felt movements just a fluttering feeling in the belly a few days back. my gynae tried to track the baby' s heartbeat but bad luck. she said maybe on my next visit we should be able to hear the baby' s heartbeat. I ahd already started on vitamins,iron, calcium and amino acids. this time she added a new medicine duvadilan retard. anybody taking this med?

i have read so many blogs regarding cradle,manipal,Columbia Asia etc.. and found Apollo the best..tho bit expensive but is really a trustworthy..specially Dr. Chithra.. no wonder she is busy all the times...as she is good n people want to go to her only.. yes in Apollo they make us to wait a lot but atleast know how to take care of patients...

I too had lots of anxities after delivery...but am learning to get along with the baby now :)...I had problem of inverted nipples as well...
In diet am having lot of Bajra as it is supposedly good for milk..and yes..Shatavari KAlp with milk...

No special food for milk. Doc has advised me to continue calcium and iron tablets for the next 3 months. Other than that my mom gives me garlic and small onions (Sambar variety) fried in gingley oil with some smalt and little pepper to take with rice. Garlic is said to be good for milk.
