Seema

You can also try to take some warm milk with crushed pepper and a pinch of turmeric in it.. This will help sooth the throat.. I had tried it post my first delivery which was a c-Section and the stitches used to hurt everytime I coughed.. this used to help bring down the cough.. and you also have the advantage of taking milk which is good for the little one... Also lying on your side will help reduce the cough in case you get it when you are lying down...Not sure about strpsils or any other cough losenger... as Meena said, best person to check is your doc...

Take care...
Subha

Extract juice from tulsi leaves and have it with honey or just chew a few tulsi leaves 2-3 times a day. Tulsi is a great remedy for sore throat and cough. Hope this helps. Ask your doc about the strepsils. Get well soon...
