I am into my IInd trimester (4th month), I am facing constipation. I am having a bowl of boiled vegetables daily to combat it but with not much effect.Could anyone suggest how to deal with it?

This is a common problem that occurs during pregnancy. You must have started taking iron supplements which can be one of the causes.. Food rich in fibres will help... having lot of green leafy vegetables and bean varieties will help.. also eating whole fruit instead of juice will help. Dates and prunes will also help. I will check with my doc on if there is something else that can be used and let you know.

Cheers
